Why We Built This Site
Texas provides several public access routes, yet no single office holds the complete picture. The Aransas County Sheriff maintains its own law-enforcement and custody records. Clerks preserve filed charges, docket events, judgments, and dispositions. Texas DPS operates the statewide criminal-history repository, TDCJ maintains state custody information, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry publishes statutory registration fields. We bring the verified contacts, fees, request paths, and official searches into one county-focused reference.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to any Texas court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every published address, fee, hour, or telephone number remains current
Only the office that issued or maintains a record, such as the Sheriff, a court clerk, or Texas DPS, can supply an official copy. This site can identify that office but cannot issue the document.
